Funen’s gentle, hilly landscape is perfect for cycling holiday and you can combine cycling with island hopping for a unique holiday on two wheels. You can rent a mountain bike at our lodge!

If you are a trekking lover, you will enjoy long walks in the natural woods few minutes by car from our lodge, in total tranquillity. A long walk on the Helnaes bay coastline in an early sunrise or a sunset is a fascinating experience.

As a sea kayaker, you’ll find Funen is an exciting maze of places to explore. Sailers should head to the archipelago, where a wealth of excursions between the islands are waiting. You can rent kayaks at our lodge!

And yet…Helnaes Bay is the perfect place and meeting point for lovers of windsurfing and kitesurfing! Helnaes bay is a famous place for kitesurfing!

For horse riding lovers, upon request we can arrange horseback riding to explore beaches and the most beautiful natural trails in the area…an unforgettable experience for children and teens.

In the lodge seabay, you can see many species of waterfowl and migratory birds…a paradise for bird watchers! Our bay is a fantastic place for photography lovers, you will enjoy incredible sunset on the sea, northern lights, wildlife and coloured flowers in spring!

Not to forget the bathing beaches with sandy bottoms ideal for swimming in the summer season, and enjoy the sunshine relaxing in just a few minutes from the lodge, within walking or cycling.

After all this sport, you can devote to cultural or fun visits suitable for young and old alike…Just an example, at only 30 minutes by car from the lodge, you can visit one of the most famous castles of Denmark, the beautiful Egeskov Castle (www.egeskov.dk) with its garden, named by CNN among 12 most beautiful gardens in the world!!!
